לאחרי הפסק ארוך נתקבל מכתבו מב' כסלו, בו כותב אודות מצב הדחוק בפרנסה.
וכבר כתבתי לכמה, שבאם היו מתרגלים לבשר טובות ולכתוב מזה לעתים תכופות, היו ממעטים או גם כלל לא לבוא בכתובים בהתקרבות ובהתקשרות ע"י כתיבה על אודות היפך בשו"ט, וק"ל.
ובכל אופן ידועה העצה היעוצה להרבות בצדקה, ועד כמה שלא יהי' קשה, להרבות עכ"פ בפרוטות אחדות יותר, מהרגלו בזה בעבר, ומהזמנים המסוגלים לזה, הוא בכל יום חול קודם תפלת הבקר.
ועוד והוא העיקר להתחזק בבטחון בהשי"ת הזן ומפרנס לכל בטוב בחן ובחסד וברחמים, ובפרט ע"פ המובן בענין דהשגחה פרטית, ונתבאר הענין בתורת החסידות שהוא על כל אחד ואחת ולפרטי פרטיו, וידוע פתגם הנפלא של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר (נדפס בהיום יום, כ"ח חשון) שזהו משלים הכוונה העליונה, עיי"ש, וחוזק בטחון מוסיף עוד יותר בהנ"ל.
ובפרט שנמצאים אנו בחדש כסלו, והשנה היא שנת המאתים להסתלקות הילולא של הבעל שם טוב, הנה כל הוספה ביחוד בלימוד פנימיות התורה שבדורנו נתגלתה בתורת החסידות, שהיא אילנא דחיי דלית תמן לא קושיא ולא העלמות והסתרים, יוסיף עוד.

After a long pause, your letter from the 2nd of Kislev was received, in which you write about your difficult financial situation.
I have already written to several people that if they would get used to sharing good news and writing about it frequently, they would reduce or even completely avoid writing about the opposite—about difficulties—in their letters of connection and attachment. This is clear.
In any case, the well-known advice is to increase in giving tzedakah (charity), and no matter how difficult it may be, to give at least a few coins more than your previous custom. One of the auspicious times for this is every weekday before morning prayers.
Even more important is to strengthen your trust in Hashem Who nourishes and sustains everyone with goodness, grace, kindness, and mercy—especially as understood from the concept of Divine Providence. Chassidus explains that this applies to every individual and every detail. The wondrous saying of my father-in-law the Rebbe (printed in Hayom Yom for 28th of Cheshvan) is well known: this fulfills the ultimate Divine intent—see there. Stronger trust adds even more blessing in all these matters.
Especially now that we are in the month of Kislev—the year marking two hundred years since the passing (yahrzeit) of the Baal Shem Tov—every increase, particularly in studying the inner dimension of Torah as revealed in Chassidus (which is called "the tree of life," where there are no questions or concealments), will add even more blessing.
Blessings for only good news in all mentioned above.
Summary
