You write regarding a partition whose upper part is made of transparent glass—it is obviously made as a joke; who is being fooled by this? The simple meaning in "KeHotzi'am Otam" (Bereishis 19:17) is: "as they (the angels) brought them out" [as it says in verse 16: "Vayotzi'eihu"—plural form. Also in Targum Onkelos on 19:17—the version in several editions is "Apiku," not "Apik"].
