במענה למכתבו מכ"ה ניסן, נעם לי לקרות בו אשר אף, שלפ"ד, ענין הנסיעה בענין דופרצת, הי' קשה עליו, בכ"ז עשה בזה וממשיך. ואשרי חלקו שתיכף ראה פרי טוב בעמלו, שדבר על אודנין דשמעין, כי שמעו בהקשבה מיוחדה דרשות ההסברה וכו'. והרי הנ"ל הוא בגדר עולמך תראה בחייך. וכמבואר בחסידות שענין עוה"ב הוא זיו תורתו ומצותיו ושכר המצות. ואתחזק בבטחוני שימשיך בהנ"ל ולא עוד אלא שיוסיף בזה, וגודל ההכרח בזה אין די באר ואין לשער, ובפרט בהשפעה על הצעירים, שלפעמים קרובות זהו נוגע בעמדת (שטעל) של כל הבית ובני הבית.
ולשאלתו, האם מותר לדבר עניני חסידות באופן שיהי' בדרך הרצאה ושיחה.
מובן, שלא רק שמותר, אלא שגם מוכרח. ולפלא גם השאלה, לאחרי
המבואר - במכתב כ"ק אדמו"ר (מוהרש"ב) נ"ע שאפילו בלימוד התניא, באם מביא לעבודה, כדאי הדבור וכו' (נדפס בהתמים ובהוספה לקונטרס עץ חיים הוצאת קה"ת), וידוע ומפורסם בין אנ"ש. ואם בשנים ההם הי' הנ"ל - עאכו"כ בתקופתנו. ונתוספה הוראה במשך הזמן בענינים כהנ"ל, שהבחינה לזה מאיזה מקום באה שאלה פלונית היא - באיזה אופן פועלת על העבודה בפועל (היום יום כ"ג סיון).
וע"ד האמור הוא בהשאלה האם מותר להוסיף הסבר במאמר אחד, ע"י שיחבר (אריינשטעלין) באמצע המאמר, הסברה בנקודה ממאמר אחר, במקום שהשומעים אינם יודעים מחסידות, שגם זה רצוי ונכון הוא.

In response to your letter from the 25th of Nissan, I was pleased to read that even though, in your opinion, the matter of traveling for the purpose of Ufaratzta was difficult for you, nevertheless you acted on it and continue to do so. Fortunate is your lot that you immediately saw good fruit from your efforts, as you spoke to receptive ears who listened with special attention to the explanations and so forth.
This is considered "your world you shall see in your lifetime." As explained in Chassidus, the concept of Olam HaBa (the World to Come) is the radiance of one's Torah and mitzvos and their reward.
I remain confident that you will continue with this and not only continue but increase in it. The great necessity for this cannot be adequately described or measured—especially regarding influence on youth, as often this affects the entire standing (shtel) of the whole household and its members.
Regarding your question whether it is permissible to speak about matters of Chassidus in a manner of lecture or conversation: It is clear that not only is it permissible but also necessary. It is surprising that such a question arises after what has been explained—in a letter from my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe (the Rebbe Rashab), that even when studying Tanya, if it brings one to avodah (service), speech is worthwhile etc. (printed in HaTamim and as an addition to Kuntres Etz Chaim published by Kehot), and this is well known among Anash. If this was true in those years—how much more so in our times.
Furthermore, over time additional instruction has been given on such matters: The criterion for any question like this is how it affects practical avodah (see Hayom Yom for 23 Sivan).
Similarly regarding whether one may add explanation within a maamar by inserting an explanation from another maamar at a point where listeners are unfamiliar with Chassidus—this too is desirable and correct.
At an auspicious time all those about whom you write will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nishmaso Eden—each one for what he needs according to your letter's content.
May it be G‑d's will that you share good news regarding yourself and each member of Kfar Chabad's residents—where Hashem commanded blessing.
