In response to your letter from the 12th of Kislev, in which you write that your medical treatment was scheduled for the auspicious time of Chanukah. May it be G‑d's will that it be successful, and even in the days until then you should feel secure in Hashem, Who heals all flesh and works wonders, that He will send His word and heal you through this specific treatment and doctor. May you return to full strength and increase your efforts in spreading Judaism and its matters—especially at its core: education according to the purity of holiness—which Divine Providence has given you the ability and opportunity to accomplish greatly in this area together with your husband shlita.

Regarding what you wrote at the end of your letter—that you are ready to accept any additional responsibility—it is understood that what was mentioned above is the most important task and requires great investment of energy. Nevertheless, since you wrote those lines—which certainly was also by Divine Providence—I wish to emphasize the importance of work in Agudas Nshei U'Bnos Chabad and matters related to Kfar Chabad. There are several reasons for this; one is that ultimately this is the birthplace of your husband shiyichyeh. And regarding the home—that is, the homemaker and family members—they must serve as a living example of a Chabad home, one of whose foundations is spreading the wellsprings of Chabad wherever their influence reaches.

It is well known from our Rebbeim and leaders that when one truly acts in these areas—success comes beyond natural means.
