מיט פארגעניגען האב איך באקומען אייער מיטטיילונג וועגן דעם יערלעכן באנקעט, וואס דארף פארקומען די וואך, יום ד, פ, בשלח - דאס איז די וואך פון שבת-שירה און דער טאג פון דער שירה, ווארום גראדע געפינט זיך די שירה אין רביעי, וואס געהערט צו מיטוואך, רביעי בשבת.
דער סיום פון דער שירה - וואס אלעס גייט דאך לויטן סיום - איז די שירה פון מרים הנביאה. אן דער שירה פון מרים וואלט די שירה פון משה רבינו ניט געווען פאלקאם. די שירה פון מרים בשמחה און כל הנשים פארפאלקאמט דעם אז ישיר משה ובני ישראל.
דערמיט גיט די תורה הקדושה אן אנווייזונג פאר די אידישע פרויען פון אלע דורות, אז די אידישע פרוי האט א גרויסע פאראנטווארטלעכקייט און זכות אין די הייליקסטע מאמענטן און וויכטיקסטע געשעענישן אין דער געשיכטע פון אונזער פאלק.
קריעת ים סוף איז געווען א צוגרייטונג צו קבלת התורה און צו דער ג-טלעכער אנטפעלקונג ביים בארג סיני. די אידישע פרויען האבן געהאט א וויכטיגען חלק אין דער צוגרייטונג.
אויך היינט שטייען מיר אויפן וועג צו דער ג-טלעכער אנטפלעקונג, על ידי משיח צדקנו במהרה בימינו. די צוגרייטונג דערצו איז דורך תורה און מצוות און פנימיות התורה אין דער באלויכטונג פון תורת החסידות. פאר דעם צוועק איז געגרינדעט געווארן ישיבת תומכי-תמימים ליובאוויטש און איז איבערגעפלאנצט געווארן אין אמעריקע דורך כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, וועמענס יום הילולא קומט אויך אויס די וואך.
איך האף אז דאס אויבנדערמאנטע וועט געבן יעדער איינער פון אייך די נויטיגע דערמוטיקונג צו פארגרעסערן אייער ארבעט לטובת הישיבה מיט מסירות-נפש און שמחה. און גלייכצייטיק וועט איר פארשטארקען אלע ענינים פון תורה און מצוות, מיט חסידישער ווארימקייט און ליכטיקייט, יעדע איינע בא זיך אין שטוב און אין דער סביבה ארום, וואס דערמיט ברענגט איר אראפ די ג-טלעכע ברכות מצליח צו זיין אויך אין אייערע ענינים פרטיים בגשמיות וברוחניות.

With pleasure I received your communication regarding the annual banquet that is to take place this week, Wednesday, Parshas Beshalach – this is the week of Shabbos Shirah and the day of the Song, for indeed the Song is found on the fourth aliyah, which corresponds to Wednesday, the fourth day of the week. The conclusion of the Song – since everything follows its conclusion – is the song of Miriam the Prophetess. Without Miriam's song, Moshe Rabbeinu's song would not have been complete. Miriam's song with joy and all the women completed "Az Yashir Moshe u'Vnei Yisrael" (Then Moshe and the children of Israel sang). Through this, the holy Torah gives instruction to Jewish women of all generations that a Jewish woman has a great responsibility and merit in the holiest moments and most important events in our people's history.
The splitting of the Sea was a preparation for receiving the Torah and for G‑d's revelation at Mount Sinai. The Jewish women had an important part in this preparation. Even today we stand on the way to G‑d's revelation through Moshiach Tzidkeinu speedily in our days. The preparation for this is through Torah and mitzvos and pnimiyus haTorah illuminated by Toras HaChassidus.
For this purpose Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch was founded and transplanted to America by my revered father-in-law, whose yahrzeit also falls this week.
I hope that all of the above will give each one of you the necessary encouragement to increase your work for the benefit of the yeshiva with self-sacrifice and joy. At the same time you will strengthen all matters of Torah and mitzvos with chassidic warmth and light, each one in her home and surroundings, thereby drawing down G‑d's blessings to succeed also in your personal matters both materially and spiritually.
With blessings for good tidings in all that was mentioned above.
