מאשר הנני קבלת שני מכתביו עם המוסגר במכתבו הראשון, ות"ח על הבשורה טובה מהתחלת הסתדרות גיסו ומשפחתו שי' באה"ק ת"ו, ויהי רצון שיהי' הענין של פרנסה, פרנסה בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד, ובודאי מצדו מעוררו ומחזיקו לא רק בגשמיות אלא גם ברוחניות, וק"ל.
במ"ש אודות הצעת קנין בית. - אינו מבאר ע"ד השכונה אם זוהי שכונה שמעתיקים ממנה או לתוכה במצבה עומדת, שהרי קנין בית לא לאיזה חדשים אלא לכה"פ לאיזה שנים, כן אינו כותב דעת מומחה בנכסי דלא ניידי, באם תנאי הקני' טובים הם, ובאם המענה לשתי השאלות הפרטיות משביעים רצון, כדאי לעשות הדבר.
לפלא שאינו מזכיר ע"ד התועדותו ביום הבהיר די"ט כסלו ראש השנה ללימוד החסידות ולדרכי החסידות, ובעיקר ע"ד ההוספה בעניני תורה ומצות, ובעניני מעינות החסידות והפצתם ביחוד, וע"ד פתגם הידוע של רבותינו נשיאינו, שבכל ראש השנה צריך איש הישראלי לקבל על עצמו איזה הוספה במ"ע ובמל"ת ובמנהג ישראל, שעד"ז הוא בהנוגע להענינים של י"ט כסלו ר"ה לחסידות, ויהי רצון שיבשר טוב בכל האמור, ובשו"ט בטוב הנראה והנגלה.

I acknowledge receipt of your two letters with the enclosure in your first letter. Thank you for the good news regarding the beginning of your brother-in-law and his family's settling in Eretz HaKodesh, may it be rebuilt and established. May it be G‑d's will that their livelihood—both materially and spiritually—be successful together. Certainly you are encouraging and supporting them not only materially but also spiritually, as is proper.
Regarding what you wrote about the proposal to purchase a home: You do not clarify whether the neighborhood is one people are moving out of or into, or if its status is stable; after all, buying a house is not for just a few months but at least for several years. You also do not mention an expert's opinion regarding real estate—whether the terms of purchase are good. If the answers to these two specific questions are satisfactory, it is worthwhile to proceed with the matter.
It is surprising that you did not mention your participation in the gathering on the bright day of Yud Tes Kislev—the Rosh Hashanah for learning Chassidus and following its ways—and especially regarding increasing in matters of Torah and mitzvos, particularly in spreading the wellsprings of Chassidus. As our Rebbeim have taught: On every Rosh Hashanah a Jew should accept upon himself some increase in positive commandments, prohibitions, and Jewish customs; so too regarding matters connected to Yud Tes Kislev—the Rosh Hashanah for Chassidus. May you have only good news in all these matters—good that is visible and revealed.
