In response to your letter from the 22nd of Marcheshvan, in which you write that you were told that our master the Alter Rebbe references the Tanya in his own books and points to specific locations: indeed, there are many such places as noted in the index of books and names printed at the end of Sefer HaTanya, Torah Or, and soon to be printed in Likkutei Torah as well. See there that in Tanya itself there are often references to previous chapters and also by name; see there in the index.

I hope that since you write about this topic, all the more so you participate in the farbrengens of Anash held on Yud-Tes Kislev—the days of redemption of the Alter Rebbe and his son and successor, the Mitteler Rebbe. It is already well known—the saying of the Alter Rebbe regarding the note that descended from Heaven about the great importance of a chassidic farbrengen.
