I was extremely pleased to receive your letter from after Yom Tov, in which you wrote how Yom Tov passed for you, especially Simchas Torah.
May Hashem Yisbarach help that just as we are now coming from the month of Tishrei—the seventh month, which is full of all good for the year "Tavo'u Shnas Chaim"—it should be His will that the joy be drawn into all the days of the year and that it should be a healthy year and a year of peace in every detail.
And all the blessings that Jews gave each other during the preparatory days for this month—in Elul, "Ani L'Dodi V'Dodi Li" (I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine)—and during the days of Tishrei itself, may Hashem, Master of blessings, fulfill them completely with revealed and apparent good. Included in this are also blessings for you—as is well known from the ruling above: what a chassidic farbrengen can accomplish even Michael the angel cannot accomplish.
With blessing for good news in general and particular matters and, according to the saying of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, for a healthy winter.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches us to extend the spiritual joy and blessings experienced during Tishrei throughout the entire year. By sharing blessings with others and participating in chassidic gatherings, we draw down abundant goodness into every aspect of our lives.
