Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from the 16th of Tammuz. I have already written to you that you should stop fearing what man can do to you; our G‑d in Heaven watches over each and every one of us with individual Divine Providence and He is the essence of goodness. One only needs to create the channels and vessels to draw down and receive His blessings, which are matters of Torah and mitzvos. When additional blessing is needed, one must increase in Torah and mitzvos—through them and by them we receive the blessings of Hashem.
Regarding your wife—about whom you write that she cries out and weeps in the middle of the night—have the mezuzos of your home checked. She should set aside some coins for tzedakah before lighting the candles and every weekday morning, and before going to sleep she should recite the first paragraph of Krias Shema. She should also avoid eating foods that are hard to digest an hour or two before sleep.
I was pleased to read that you participated in the Festival of Redemption in Kfar Chabad. May it be G‑d's will that the joy and inspiration continue into matters of Torah and mitzvos throughout the entire year.
With blessing,
In the name of the Rebbe shlita,
Secretary
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that trust in Hashem brings peace and blessing when paired with practical steps like Torah observance, charity, spiritual routines, and attention to mitzvos such as mezuzah. Consistent effort in these areas draws down Divine goodness into daily life.
