We acknowledge receipt of your letter informing about the youth gathering in connection with the upcoming Festival of Redemption, 12 Tammuz. Since the Rebbe Shlita sent a telegram yesterday (to the address of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim in Lod), here is a copy of its text as it pertains to you:
To be conveyed to Tzeirei Aguch in Kfar and Jerusalem: At the youth gathering on the day of redemption, may it be G‑d's will that the self-sacrifice of the one whose joy we celebrate will serve as a lamp for your feet, your hearts and minds—to illuminate your path in life with the light and radiance of Torah of Life and its mitzvos. With vigor, warmth, and vitality—the special qualities of youth—you will redeem yourselves and your environment from material imprisonment; you will strengthen form over matter, holiness over the mundane, and the Divine soul over the animal soul and body. With pride you will uplift the honor of Israel Saba—a nation that dwells alone with Hashem its G‑d among them.
