Out of respect, I am also acknowledging in writing the receipt of the Beis Din's letter under your leadership, in addition to the earlier telephone notification. May He whose is peace, who gave us His Torah to make peace in the world (see Rambam at the end of Hilchos Chanukah), increase peace within all Israel. Then there will also be abundant blessing, kindness, and goodness, as our Sages said (Esther Rabbah at its end). This is the main purpose of a Beis Din—that they fulfill their mission—as brought in Tanna D'vei Eliyahu Rabbah chapter 11 regarding proper conduct and the role of the Sanhedrin in Israel. This was also discussed at the recent Matan Torah gathering when explaining the Mishnah's command: 'Be among the students of Aharon—loving peace...' ^[1]—that everyone is obligated in this (and all the more so those descended from Aharon). The commandment is "when you raise up the lamps," referring to all different types among Bnei Yisrael, as explained by our Rebbe in his Likkutei Torah at the beginning of Parshas Beha'aloscha—that we follow from there—until "the flame rises on its own."

Certainly—as our Sages say that it is assumed a messenger fulfills his mission—your son-in-law, the Rav shlita, conveyed regarding our conversation about publishing your work "Orachot HaMishpatim." There is nothing that stands before true will; Torah should not remain incomplete like idle talk when others are proceeding to print similar works. And since positive measure must be greater...
