Shalom u'Vrachah!

I was pleased to receive your letter from the 23rd of Nissan in which you write about the hitvaaduyot during the auspicious days, that they were attended by many people in quantity and with uplifted spirits in quality. May Hashem help that as explained at length in Likkutei Torah, from these festivals of joy the happiness should be drawn into all days of the year. Especially since Pesach is the Exodus from Egypt, which is mentioned every time and especially on Shabbat Kodesh and particularly on every Yom Tov—which is the departure and liberation from servitude to freedom, a preparation for Matan Torah. This preparation must be fitting for what one strives for; each person should do what depends on him to free himself from worries and troubles. This will make possible the receiving of the Torah on the upcoming Yom Tov of Shavuos with joy and even more so with inwardness.

The merit that you take upon yourself a share of the expenses for spreading the wellsprings—the guidance of Toras HaChassidus and its teachings (until it reaches) outward—should bring even more success in your beloved work, holy work. May we all merit to celebrate the true redemption from this final exile through our righteous Moshiach.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that joy experienced during festivals should permeate the entire year. By preparing ourselves properly for receiving the Torah on Shavuos and actively participating in spreading Chassidus, we open channels for greater success and ultimate redemption.
