במענה על מכתבו מעש"ק. נעם לי לקרות בו ע"ד קריאת השם של בנם שליט"א ושכיוונו לדעתי, אף שכאמור במכתבי הקודם אין נוהגים להורות בזה, ואכפול ברכתי שיגדלוהו הוא וזוגתו שיחיו לתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים מתוך הרחבת הדעת.
במ"ש אודות הטאנסילס וכו' הרי ע"ד הרגיל אפילו אלו המצטננים לפעמים והסיבה היא הטאנסילס, במה דברים אמורים בימי הסתיו וחורף; משא"כ בקיץ, ולכן לכאורה אין נוגע עתה לדון על שאלה זו, ויתייעצו בזה עוה"פ עם הרופא שלהם, ובאם גם דעתו כנ"ל יהי' מקום לשאלה וכתיבה עד"ז רק בעוד כמה חדשים ובינתים הנה כל אחד ואחת מהם וכלם יחד זאלען האבען א געזונטען זומער.
נהניתי מ"ש אודות חלוקת מצה שמורה, ובמה שמסיים בענין זה שכל התחלות קשות, קשה קצת, מה הם הקישוים, כיון שזהו שלא עמל"פ, והנקודה השני' הרי זהו התחלת הטור ושו"ע (בהגהות רמ"א) אל יבוש מפני המלעיגים ובפרט שהרי בתקופתנו הולכים המנגדים ופוחתים הן במספרם והן בחשיבותם.
בודאי לא יסתפק בהשיעורים שכותב אלא שיוסיף עליהם כסיום מכתבו עד"ז, ובהם שיעורים לנוער ובכלל דער ריידין ארום חסידות, שלפעמים עי"ז עושים רבות, ובאותו ענין הוא גם עבוד תכנית מתאימה איך לנצל יום הל"ג בעומר ובפרט שחל השתא ביום שהתלמידים פנוים מלימודי חול וכו' והשי"ת יצליחו לבשו"ט. ובכל הנ"ל.

בשאלתו ע"ד מקום לימוד השיעור בדא"ח - ידועה שיחת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שטוב יותר במקום שרבים נמצאים או עוברים בו ובדוגמת עסק גשמי כו', ובודאי וועלן זיך זייטיקע ניט מישן אין בעה"ב'טישקייט. ובאם ינסו - הרי תמיד היכולת בידו להעביר השיעור לביתו. ובטח ההפחדה בזה תספיק לבטל ההתערבות. וד"ל.

In response to your letter from Erev Shabbat Kodesh. I was pleased to read about the naming of your son, may he live and be well, and that you agreed with my opinion—even though as I wrote previously it is not customary to instruct in this matter. I repeat my blessing that you and your wife raise him to Torah, marriage, and good deeds with broad-mindedness.
Regarding what you wrote about the tonsils etc.: As is usual—even for those who sometimes catch colds due to their tonsils—this applies in the autumn and winter; not so in the summer. Therefore, it seems there is no need to discuss this question now. Consult again with your doctor; if his opinion remains as above, then the question should only be revisited in several months. Meanwhile, may each of you and all together have a healthy summer.
I enjoyed what you wrote about distributing shmurah matzah. Regarding your comment that all beginnings are difficult—what are these difficulties? Since this is not for personal gain (not for Pesach), and secondly: this is the beginning of Tur and Shulchan Aruch (in the glosses of the Rema): 'One should not be embarrassed before mockers,' especially since in our times those who oppose are decreasing both in number and importance.
Certainly you will not suffice with the lessons you mention but will add more as you conclude your letter—including lessons for youth and generally spreading Chassidus. Sometimes much is accomplished thereby. Similarly, plan an appropriate program to utilize Lag BaOmer—especially since this year it falls on a day when students are free from secular studies—and may Hashem grant you success in all these matters and also in your wife's activities.
Regarding your question about where to hold the lesson in Chassidus: It is known from my father-in-law's sichah that it is better where many people are present or pass by—similar to material business—and certainly outsiders will not interfere with the household's affairs. If they try—the ability always remains to move the lesson home. Usually just mentioning this suffices to prevent interference. This should be understood.
Summary
