במענה על מכתבו מיום הרביעי שנתקבל באיחור זמן. במה שכותב אודות ס"ת כתיבתה וסיומה והכנסתה לבית הכנסת.
הנה לפלא שאלתו בזה, בה בשעה שזה כמה שנים שנדפס מכתב מפורט מכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע (כמדומה בקובץ מכתבים השלישי), והאומנם אינו לומד או עכ"פ קורא עניני נשיאנו המוצאים לאור, ואם הוא אינו עושה כן, הרי מה יעשו בני עדתו ומושפעיו בכלל, אתמהה.

In response to your letter from Wednesday, which was received after some delay.
Regarding what you write about the writing, completion, and bringing in of a Sefer Torah to the synagogue: It is surprising that you ask about this when for several years now a detailed letter from my father-in-law, the Rebbe—of blessed memory—has been published (apparently in the third collection of letters). Is it possible that you do not study or at least read the matters of our Nesi'im that have been published? And if you do not do so, what will the members of your congregation and those influenced by you do? I am astonished.
I am enclosing what was recently published, and surely you will share its content with others as well. The merit of the many depends on you.
With blessings that you begin your main and inner work—as is fitting for anyone who merited to study in Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim—which is spreading the wellsprings outward.
Summary
