נעם לי לקבל מכתבו מאדר"ח כסלו, הוא חדש הגאולה, גאולה בגשם וגאולה ברוח, אשר כבר יצא ממקומו שעד עתה, ובמילא גם מצב בריאותו הולך וטוב, ודלא כמה שכותב בהתחלת מכתבו. ואף שגם להבא צריך לשאול חוות דעת הרופא ולמלאות הוראתו בפועל, אבל כמו שכתבתי לו מאז להיות חזק בבטחונו בהרופא כל בשר ומפליא לעשות ובמילא יקיל קיום הציווי עבדו את ה' בשמחה.
ובמ"ש שהוא מדוכא ועושה חשבונות על זה וכו'. כבר כתבתי לכמה מאנ"ש שאין זה אלא מתחבולות היצה"ר, וכבר ידוע דרז"ל עה"פ לא יהי' בך אל זר, דקאי על הקלוגינקער (שבת קה:), ובמילא קאי ע"ז הציווי שקץ תשקצנו ותעב תתעבנו, והאריכות בזה אך למותר, וחבל על הזמן.
ולהודעתו מיום ההולדת שלו, הנה יה"ר שתהי' שנת הצלחה אצלו הן בגשמיות והן ברוחניות ובגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.
בברכת חג הגאולה ובפ"ש כל שכניו במקומו עתה, ובטח ימסור גם להם ברכתי, ברכת בריאות בגשמיות ובריאות ברוחניות.

I was pleased to receive your letter from the beginning of Kislev, which is the month of redemption—redemption in the physical and redemption in the spiritual. You have already left your previous place, and therefore your health is also improving, unlike what you wrote at the beginning of your letter.
Even though going forward you must still consult with a doctor and follow his instructions in practice, as I have written to you previously, be strong in your trust in the Healer of all flesh Who works wonders. This will make it easier to fulfill the commandment to serve Hashem with joy.
Regarding what you wrote about being depressed and making calculations about it, etc., I have already written to several of Anash that this is nothing but a trick of the Yetzer Hora. It is well known what our Sages said on the verse 'Lo Yihiyeh Becha El Zar' ("There shall not be within you a strange G‑d")—that this refers to the 'kluginker' (Shabbos 105b), and therefore applies to the commandment: 'You shall utterly detest and abhor it.' There is no need to elaborate further; it would be a waste of time.
In response to your notification about your birthday: May it be G‑d's will that this year be one of success for you both materially and spiritually—and both together.
With blessings for the Festival of Redemption and regards to all your neighbors at your current location. Surely you will also convey my blessing to them—a blessing for health both materially and spiritually.
