Greetings and blessing!

It is surprising that since you left there has been no news at all from you, even though the time of ויעקב הלך לדרכו, "And Yaakov went on his way" (Bereishis 32:2), has already begun, when he took with him all the matters of the month of Tishrei, the seventh (השביעי) month, which is sated (המושבע) with all good, and which imparts this good to the affairs of the other months of the year. Surely you will make up for this at the very first opportunity, and also send the newspaper clippings about this in which words of inspiration, etc., were printed.

Enclosed here is a clipping from the newspaper Morgen Zhurnal about the books of She'eris HaPleitah (the survivors) that were distributed to various places. Please be so kind as to take an interest in this, and in what some of Anash, may they live, have done in other places: they came to an arrangement, mostly in an unofficial way, to exchange the rare books found in this collection, which obviously no one studies in countries such as Australia, Brazil, etc., for Kehot (Karnei Hod Torah) books, and to send those books to the library here, which serves the benefit of many. The benefit in all this is twofold: rare books will not lie in a corner like a thing no one turns over; and furthermore, in those places there will be the opportunity to see Kehot books of Chassidus and the like, or at least siddurim, etc., so that it cannot fail to add, through this, someone who prays, or at least someone who reads and takes an interest. On your understanding I rely (cf. Mishlei 3:5) as to how to bring the matter into action; and a word to the wise is sufficient. It is understood that the costs of shipping, packing, etc., together with many thanks, will be paid from here.
