Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from the 29th of Sivan. Regarding your note that there are differences in the Tanya: sometimes—in the introduction and in parts I and II—it is written Eloka with a hei, and in Iggeres HaKodesh with a kuf. Two points must be clarified: a) Check line by line in the aforementioned books to see if this is indeed so. b) Compare with the earliest printings, especially those published during the Alter Rebbe's lifetime and in nearby locations (excluding the Zalkwa edition). Only after this should any clarification on this matter be made.
With blessing, on behalf of the Lubavitcher Rebbe shlita, A. Kwint, secretary
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that before drawing conclusions about textual variations—such as different spellings of Divine names—one must thoroughly investigate all sources and compare them to original editions for accuracy.
