I hereby confirm receipt of your letter from the 2nd of Sivan regarding the gathering held two weeks ago with its enclosures.
And in these days connected with the time of the giving of our Torah, your check was delivered to support those who study Torah not for any special "purpose," but simply because this is our holy Torah, a Torah of life. The merit of this should stand by each participant in the branches so that they will have true Torah nachas—both materially and spiritually—from themselves and from every member of their family. And according to the expression of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal: May each of you with your families have a healthy and joyous summer among all Israel.
