במענה על מכתבו מלפני חג הפסח, בו כותב שאינו רואה סימן ברכה בלימודו וכו' וע"כ יש לו סברות שונות בהנוגע להסתדרותו בעתיד וכותב הפרטים בזה.
והנה במ"ש שאינו רואה סימן ברכה בהלימוד, הנה ע"פ מרז"ל יגעת ומצאת תאמין, כוונה בזה יגיעה שלו, היינו לימוד באופן המתאים לכחותיו וכשרונותיו הוא יעמול וייגע בתורה, ומובן שבעל כשרונות טובים איננו יוצא בזה כשלומד כהבעל כשרונות רגילים, שהרי בערכו איננו יגע, וכיון שאין אדם מעיד על עצמו, הנה האמת בזה יכול להודע מהר"י והמשפיע שלו שהרי מכירים הם אותו וכשרונותיו התמדתו ושקידתו.
בהנוגע להצעות שכותב אודותן, הנה עליו להתייעץ בזה עם שלשה מאנ"ש המכירים אותו ויודעים הענינים על אתר, והשי"ת יתן להם הרעיון הנכון איך לייעצו כטוב לפניו בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

In response to your letter from before Pesach, in which you write that you do not see a sign of blessing in your studies, etc., and therefore you have various thoughts regarding your future arrangements and you write the details about this.
Regarding what you wrote about not seeing a sign of blessing in your studies: our Sages say "Yagata u'Matzata Taamin" (If you toil and find success, believe it). The intention is your own effort—that is, learning in a manner appropriate to your abilities and talents; you must labor and toil in Torah. It is understood that someone with good talents does not fulfill this by learning as one with average talents does, for relative to his abilities he has not truly toiled. And since no person can testify about himself, the truth of this can be known from his mashpia and Rav Yisrael (his spiritual mentor), for they know him—his talents, diligence, and perseverance.
Regarding the suggestions you wrote about: you should consult with three members of Anash who know you and are familiar with the situation locally. May Hashem give them the right idea on how to advise you for your good both materially and spiritually.
