It is surprising that there has been no information from you regarding those about whom you wrote in connection with the pan (pidyon nefesh), even though you were reminded about this several times. For several reasons, it is appropriate that people should know what happens after sending a pan.

May it be the will of Hashem that you be a good messenger to bring good news soon.

Regarding what you wrote about the small number of students: it would be worthwhile to speak with your colleagues—the directors of Tomchei Tmimim or fellow temimim in other towns—about how they operate to increase student numbers. Surely what works elsewhere will also be suitable for your location, all the more so if it succeeds elsewhere.

And since your financial situation is good, as you wrote in your letter, then certainly there is even more reason to increase the number of students. It is well known that efforts in outreach do not go unrewarded—especially since the blessings of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, rest upon all institutions he founded and which are run in his spirit.
