איך בין געווען צופרידען צו באקומען א אלגעמיינעם גרוס פון אייך, און האפענטליך גייט דאס אלץ בא אייך בסדר ובשלום סיי בגשמיות און סיי ברוחניות.
און אזוי ווי ניט לאנג האט זיך אנגעהויבען דער נייער יאהר און מען האט אנגעהויבען צו לייענען די תורה נאך אמאל פון בראשית ברא, איז ווי עס ווערט געבראכט אין ספרים, איז די קריאה דארף דערמאנען א אידען אז עס דארף זיך אנהויבען א נייער סדר סיי אין "את השמים" בנוגע רוחניות'דיקע ענינים און אויך "את הארץ" בנוגע גשמיות'דיקע ענינים, און וויסען אז "ברא אלקים" לויטן מאמר רז"ל אלמלא עוזרו אין יכול לו (סוכה נ"ב ע"א) אז הקדוש ברוך הוא העלפט אויף פארווירקליכען די גוטע החלטות וואס יעדער איד נעמט אן אין דעם חדש תשרי, אויף צו טאן אין זיי בפועל ממש, אין די טעג פון א גאנץ יאהר.
און בנוגע צו א בית הכנסת, איז אויף וויפיל גוט עס איז געווען אין דעם עבר, איז זיכער נאך דא ארט אויף צוגעבען אין די שיעורים וועלכע ווערען געלערנט ברבים. און האפענטליך זאגט מען תהלים יעדער טאג נאכן דאוונען אין דער פריה, און צו געבען פון די שול געלט אויף ענינים פון צדקה על טהרת הקדש, און דאס העלפט אויך אז די מתפללים פון בית הכנסת זאלען מיטנעמען א צוגאב אין לעבעדיקייט און ווארימקייט פון דער שול אהיים, וואס מיט דעם בריינגט מען צוגאב ברכות פון השם יתברך אין דעם וואס עס באדארף א מענטש און זיינע בני בית שיחיו.

I was pleased to receive a general greeting from you, and hopefully everything is going well for you both materially and spiritually.
Just as not long ago the new year began and we started reading the Torah again from Bereishis Bara ("In the beginning G‑d created"), as is brought in sefarim, this reading should remind a Jew that a new order should begin both in "et haShamayim" (regarding spiritual matters) and also "et haAretz" (regarding material matters). And one should know that "Bara Elokim" (G‑d created), according to our Sages' saying: 'If not for His help, one could not overcome it' (Sukkah 52a), meaning that the Holy One helps to actualize the good resolutions each Jew accepts in this month of Tishrei, to carry them out in practice throughout the whole year.
And regarding a Beis HaKnesses: however good things have been in the past, there is certainly still room to add more classes that are taught publicly.
And hopefully Tehillim is recited every day after davening in the morning, and that money from the shul is given for matters of tzedakah with pure intent. This also helps so that those who pray in the shul will take home an added measure of vitality and warmth from the shul—which brings additional blessings from Hashem Yisbarach in all that a person and his family need.
With blessings for a healthy winter and success throughout the year in general.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that no matter how much good has been done in a shul, there is always room for improvement—especially by adding more public Torah classes. Daily Tehillim, giving tzedakah, and bringing home spiritual warmth extend these blessings into daily life.
