Blessings and greetings!
I was alarmed to hear that your health has not been as it should for several weeks. I hope that by the time you receive this letter your condition will have improved and you will be able to inform me of this yourself, for in all matters of mitzvah, it is preferable to do it oneself rather than through a messenger. Maintaining a healthy and whole body is one of the ways of Hashem.
The simple faith that every Jewish man and woman possesses compels us to also believe that only the Holy One, blessed be He, is the sole Master of the entire world and all within it—including this physical world and each individual man and woman. Since Hashem is the essence of good, He certainly wants to grant only goodness and kindness to everyone; bodily health is one of the main aspects of this. This is explained in Rambam, Hilchot Deot at the end of chapter 3 and beginning of chapter 4.
It is also well known—the teaching of the Baal Shem Tov on the verse "Ki Tireh Chamor Sonacha Roveitz Tachat Masa'o... Azov Ta'azov Imo" ("When you see the donkey of your enemy lying under its burden... you shall surely help with him")—as explained in the maamar from Yud Shevat 5713.
When one feels (not just knows) all of the above, then one's soul becomes permeated with an inner calm that immediately brings improvement in health and a swift recovery.
May Hashem grant you success to share good news regarding all the above, and may it be as soon as possible.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that truly internalizing faith in Hashem's goodness brings inner peace and can lead to tangible improvement in one's health and wellbeing.
