נעם לי לקבל פ"ש מהם בתחלה ע"י הרה"ח וו"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצ"צ כו' מוה"ר בן ציון שי' שם טוב שד"ר שביקר ע"פ בקשתי גם בבית כמה מהם, ואח"כ ע"י הנוסעים מהתם להכא ליום ההילולא של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע מנהיג דורנו.
חדוה תקיעא מסטרא דא על כללות הפ"ש אשר ת"ל נתרבה גבולם בכמות - כן ירבו - ובכי' תקיעא מסטרא דא על המצב בנוגע לאיכות, אשר אם גם הי' המצב נשאר כמקדם, הרי לא זהו התכלית והכוונה, כי פסק התורה היא שצ"ל מעלין בקדש ובפרט ע"פ מרז"ל שכל מי שלא נבנה בית המקדש בימיו ה"ז כאילו כו' ובפרט כמו שמבאר כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר במשל שאפשר להשאר על מכונו מעמדו ומצבו כשהולכים במישור, אבל כשמטפסים על הר משופע ביותר, רק שני דרכים ישנם אז, אם לטפס ולעלות מעלה או ח"ו לרדת מטה...
בנוגע להמוסד שנקרא מכבר בשם ישיבה, הנה למרות כל הזירוז והשתדלות, נמצא הוא במצב של תלמוד תורה (אלא שהכתירו זה באמעריקא בשם ישיבה קטנה) ואף שהכריחו כמה אברכים להשאר שם, לא עורר זה כנראה כלל וכלל את ההנהלה לעמוד על המצב לעשות את המוסד מתאים לשמו אשר קרא לו נשיאינו, היינו ישיבה. ונקרא ג"כ ישיבת תומכי תמימים, וכבר מבואר בכמה שיחות ובכמה מאמרים ג"כ ענינו של תמים, שצ"ל הלימוד והעיקר ההשגחה באופן מתאים לזה, ועד כמה רחוקה המציאות לא רק מהטוב, אלא אפילו מהנכון, הרי רואים הם על אתר...
כיון שאסתכל באורייתא וברא עלמא הן עולם הגדול והן עולם קטן זה האדם, הרי כל תיקון בהנוגע לאדם צ"ל קשור ג"כ בעניני תורה, ולכן בודאי יוסיפו ג"כ בשיעורי לימוד בתורת הנגלה ובתורת החסידות הן ברבים והן ביחיד וכן בעניני התוועדות, והרי עמהם הרה"ח הוו"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצ"צ מזקני אנ"ש הרב מוה"ר פרץ שי' מאצקין שיכול להקדיש רוב זמנו לענינים אלו והם יקילו מעליו טרדותיו בנוגע לפרנסה גשמית והוא יקל מעליהם (עכ"פ ישתדל בזה) טרדותיהם בפרנסה רוחנית.
ויהי רצון מהשי"ת אשר ע"פ מה שנדבר בעת ההתוועדות דיום ההילולא הרביעי מיום ההסתלקות, שאף שהיו שלש שנים ערלים ובשנה הרביעית רק בענינים של קדושה מצ"ע, הנה בשנה החמישית יתוסף במחנם ובהד' אמות של כאו"א תבואתם, הן תבואת השדה והן תבואת הכרם, וכמבואר עניניהם בכמה מקומות בדא"ח ויהי' כפי סיום הכתוב אני ה' אלקיכם ופרש"י אני ה' המבטיח על כך ונאמן לשמור הבטחתי, ואלקיכם - כחכם וחיותיכם, בכ"ז.
המחכה לבשו"ט בהקדם ומברכם בהצלחה מופלגה בכל הנ"ל הן בענינים הכללים והן בעניניהם הפרטים אשר הא בהא תליא.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I was pleased to receive regards from you initially through Haraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"n involved with tzt"z etc. Moreinu HaRav Ben Tzion Shem Tov, the shadar who visited at my request also in the homes of several of you, and afterwards through those who traveled from there to here for the yahrzeit of our Rebbe, my father-in-law, leader of our generation.
There is joy "Tekia from the right side" regarding the general news that, thank G‑d, your boundaries have increased in quantity—may it continue so—and tears "Tekia from the left side" regarding the situation concerning quality. Even if things had remained as before, this is not the purpose or intent; for Torah law states that one must always ascend in holiness. Especially as our Sages say: anyone in whose days the Beis HaMikdash was not rebuilt—it is as if... And especially as explained by my father-in-law with an analogy: one can remain stationary when walking on level ground, but when climbing a steep mountain there are only two options—to ascend higher or G‑d forbid descend lower.
Regarding the institution long called a yeshiva: despite all encouragement and effort, it remains at the level of a Talmud Torah (only labeled in America as a "small yeshiva"). Even though several Avrechim were compelled to stay there, this apparently did not at all awaken the administration to address matters so as to make the institution fit its name given by our leaders—yeshiva. It is also called Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim. It has already been explained in many talks and discourses what it means to be a Tamim: learning and especially supervision must be appropriate for this. How far reality is not only from good but even from what is proper—they see this themselves on site.
Since G‑d looked into Torah and created the world—both the great world and man as a microcosm—any correction regarding a person must also be connected with Torah matters. Therefore you will surely increase study sessions in both Nigleh (revealed Torah) and Chassidus, both publicly and privately, as well as farbrengens. With you is Haraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"n involved with tzt"z from among the elders of Anash Moreinu HaRav Peretz Matskin who can devote most of his time to these matters; you will lighten his material livelihood burdens while he (at least will try) to lighten your spiritual livelihood burdens.
May it be Hashem's will that—as discussed at the farbrengen on the fourth yahrzeit since the passing—even though there were three uncircumcised years and in the fourth year only matters of holiness by themselves; in the fifth year there should be added produce within your camp and within each person's four cubits—both field produce and vineyard produce—as explained in many places in Chassidus. And it should be as concluded in Scripture: Ani Hashem Elokeichem (I am Hashem your G‑d), and Rashi explains: I am Hashem Who guarantees this and is faithful to keep My promise; Elokeichem—your strength and your life force—in everything.
