במענה על מכתבו מר"ח שבט. נבהלתי לקרות בו אשר באיזה שנים לפנים נמלטו מפיו מלים הפוגעים בכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע נשיא ישראל. ומ"ש אודות התיקון בזה, מובן שבטח כוונתו לאחרי החרטה גמורה מכל וכל, הנה לכל לראש נוסף על שמירת התקנות הנ"ל והליכה באורחותיו לעצמו עליו להשתדל להשפיע בסביבתו שיתחילו ללמוד תורתו של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר וללכת באורחותיו, ותקנותיו בשיעורי חומש תהלים ותניא בפרט, וכשישפיע לכל הפחות על עשרה אנשים שילמדו תורתו וישמרו תקנותיו הרי הנחת רוח דשפתותיו דובבות בשני עולמים וכפסק רז"ל יכפר על ענין מבהיל הנ"ל. והשי"ת יצליחו לבשר טוב.

In response to your letter from Rosh Chodesh Shevat.
I was shocked to read that some years ago words escaped your mouth that were disrespectful toward the Previous Rebbe, of blessed memory, leader of Israel.
Regarding your question about rectification: it is understood that you certainly mean after complete and total remorse. First of all, in addition to keeping the aforementioned regulations and personally following in his ways, you should strive to influence those around you to begin studying the Torah of the Previous Rebbe and follow his ways and regulations—especially in the daily study cycles of Chumash, Tehillim, and Tanya. When you influence at least ten people to learn his Torah and observe his customs, this brings satisfaction to his soul in both worlds, as our Sages say: "his lips move in the grave," and this will atone for the alarming matter mentioned above.
