ומ"ש הנני קטן, אין כוונתי לכמות, כי הרי רואים במוחש אפילו בעולם החומרי שאין הכמות נוגע כ"כ אלא האיכות, שזהו אחת ההוראות מהתגליות האחרונות בנוגע ל'אטאם, שקורטוב אחד יכול להרוס ישוב שלם. והרי מרובה מדה טובה ממדת כו' הרי עאכו"כ בהנוגע לכח של בן אדם הצפון בגשמיות של אדם פשוט ושלא בערך כערך הגבול לגבי בלי גבול הצפון בקורטוב אחד של רוחניות ומי יאמר בקורטוב אחד של אלקות הנמצא בכאו"א מבני ובנות ישראל.
אלא שכמו בדוגמא הנ"ל צריך זעזוע - א טרייסל - לגלות הכחות הנעלמים, הנה כן בהנוגע לרוחניות ואפילו לאלקות שהוא נמצא בהעלם והסתר בעולם כדי שיחפשו אחריו, וכידוע בפירוש הכתוב בן חכם ישמח אב, אשר האב מתחבא מהבן בכדי שיחפשנו, וידוע ג"כ המסופר ע"ד אחד מגדולי ישראל שראה איך שנכדו משחק עם ילדים בני גילו במחבואות, וכשנכדו התחבא והילד השני הלך לעסקו, התחיל הנכד לבכות שהתחבא הוא ואין מחפש אותו. וככה, להבדיל הבדלות אין קץ, בנמשל, כמובן.
ואחריות כ"א מדורנו זה עוד גדולה יותר כיון שכבר אין צריך לחפש ורק לפרסם את הנמצא אשר אז רואים אלקות במוחש, ובפרט תלמיד כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר ההולכים באורחותיו בחיי היום יומים במחשבה דבור ומעשה בפועל.
המחכה לבשו"ט מפעולות טובות, ולא רק בנוגע ענינים שיכולים לקוות גם מעולמ'שע אלא גם בזה שכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר קיוה שיראה בכל אחד מתלמידיו.

I acknowledge receipt of his pidyon nefesh... May Hashem grant him success that from this small seed great and wondrous growths will emerge.
When I wrote "small," I did not mean in quantity, for we see tangibly even in the material world that quantity is not so important but rather quality. This is one of the lessons from recent discoveries regarding the atom: a tiny amount can destroy an entire settlement. And since the measure of good is greater than the measure of punishment, how much more so regarding the power of a human being hidden within the physicality of a simple person—which is incomparable to the infinite potential hidden in even a tiny bit of spirituality—and who can speak about even a tiny bit of G‑dliness found in every Jewish man and woman.
But just as in the above example a shock—a treisel—is needed to reveal hidden powers, so too regarding spirituality and even G‑dliness: it is concealed and hidden in the world so that it will be sought out. As is known from the verse "Ben Chacham Yismach Av" (A wise son makes his father rejoice), that the father hides from his son so he will seek him out. It is also known what is told about one of the greats of Israel who saw his grandson playing hide-and-seek with other children; when his grandson hid and the other child went off to do something else, the grandson began to cry because he was hiding but no one was searching for him. So too—though with infinite distinction—in our analogy.
The responsibility on each person in our generation is even greater since now there is no need to search but only to publicize what already exists; then one sees G‑dliness tangibly—especially students of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, who walk in his ways in daily life through thought, speech, and actual deed.
I await good news from positive activities—not only regarding matters that could be expected even from worldly people but also those which my revered father-in-law hoped to see in each of his students.
Summary
A single small act can have immense impact when its Divine potential is revealed. The Rebbe teaches us to uncover and publicize this spark within ourselves and others through consistent positive action.
