I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letters from Erev Shabbat Kodesh and Zot Chanukah, the 15th, 24th, and 29th of Tevet, along with their enclosures.

b) I was pleased by what you wrote, at least briefly, about the Yud-Tes Kislev farbrengen. Surely it is unnecessary to remind you that it is worthwhile to prepare from among the students themselves those who will review a maamar or at least a concept of Divrei Elokim Chaim (Chassidus) at such farbrengens. Likewise, to arrange a group of singers from among them in an organized manner so that these things will uplift the spirits of the students. Surely this will also arouse among them the matter of "kinas sofrim" (scholarly envy), and it will also make an appropriate impression on those attending from among the people of the city and its surroundings. Perhaps it would be worthwhile in the future to announce in the local Jewish newspaper (if there are such that are read by our Jewish brethren) that on a certain day there will be a farbrengen, etc., and include a few lines about the nature of the farbrengen.
