זה עתה נתקבל מכתבו מועש"ק וארא. ובשאלותיו:
א) כיון שעד עתה הקפידו על הלימוד ביום הראשון. - לא לו ולליובאוויטש בכלל להיות המכניסים שינוי להתדמות דוקא להחפשים, או גם לא"י.
ב) לימוד עברית בעברית. - ידוע עד כמה נלחמו בזה נשיאינו רבותינו (למרות ה"טענות" של ה"מחנכים" שחפשו כביכול "טובת" התלמידים, וה"ה הנימוקים שמעתיק במכתבו), וטוב וגם נקל יותר שהמועמדות למורות יתלמדו אידיש.

Your letter from the conclusion of Shabbat Parshat Va'era has just been received. Regarding your questions: a) Since until now there has been careful adherence to studying on the first day, neither you nor Lubavitch in general should be the ones to introduce a change simply to imitate others who are searching, or even those in Eretz Yisrael. b) Studying Hebrew in Hebrew—it is well known how strongly our Nesi'im and Rabbeim fought against this (despite the 'arguments' of 'educators' who supposedly sought the 'good' of the students, and these are the same reasons you quote in your letter). It is better and easier that candidates for teaching positions learn Yiddish. Enclosed is the maamar delivered on last year's yahrzeit, and surely you will share it generously to benefit many.
