Harav vavac"h iy"a nu"n etc. Moshe HaKohen
Shalom u'Vrachah!
I was pleased to receive your regards at the time, through the rabbinic emissaries Harav vavac"h iy"a nu"n Haraha"ch Moshe Shneor Zalman HaLevi Duchman and Haraha"ch Moshe Kadish Romanov, who visited their camp, and also conveyed to me your request for a blessing and a pidyon nefesh.
At an auspicious time I mentioned you at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), in accordance with your request's content. May it be G‑d's will that you share good news in this regard.
As we stand in the month of Tammuz—the month of redemption of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, leader of Israel, and our own redemption (for "the body follows the head")—may it be G‑d's will that each one of us be redeemed from all matters that disturb us and be able to serve Hashem with joy and gladness of heart.
And may this personal redemption be a preparation for the general redemption through our righteous Moshiach very soon.
With blessings for Chag HaGeulah and to hear good news,
In the name of the Rebbe shlita,
S. M. Simpson
Secretary
Summary
The Rebbe writes about praying for personal requests at the Ohel and connects individual redemption in Tammuz with collective redemption. He encourages serving Hashem with joy as a preparation for Moshiach's coming.
