Havavac"h iy"a nu"n oseik b'tzt"z Moshe HaKohen

Shalom u'Vrachah!

I was pleased to receive regards from you, in due time, through the rabbinic emissaries, Havavac"h iy"a nu"n etc. Haraha"ch Moshe Shneor Zalman HaLevi Duchman, and Haraha"ch Kadish Romanov. They visited their camp and also delivered your request for a blessing and a pan (pidyon nefesh) to me.

At an auspicious time I mentioned you at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), in accordance with your request. May it be G‑d's will that you will have good news regarding this.

We are now approaching the days of Purim, about which it is said: "LaYehudim hayta orah v'simcha v'sasson v'yikar" (For the Jews there was light and gladness and joy and honor), as explained by our Sages and in its simple meaning—for it is a rule that a verse never departs from its plain meaning.

Blessings for good news and a joyous Purim.

Summary
