I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from the eighth of Kislev with the attached report. At an auspicious time I will mention you at the Tziyun that you should succeed greatly in your exalted endeavor, and that livelihood should be abundant among our brethren Bnei Yisrael. May the matter of Gmilus Chassadim become a Gmilus Chassadim for the wealthy as well, and may all those involved increase their strength in all their good activities. This is in accordance with the lesson from these days of Chanukah, that the halachah follows Beis Hillel—one increases and adds to the light each day: "Ner mitzvah v'Torah or" (a mitzvah is a candle and Torah is light). So too may Hashem increase His blessing in all your matters—both material and spiritual together.
With blessings for success, good news, and radiant days of Chanukah.
