יש לעשות כדיעה אחידה של שני רופאים מומחים במקוצע.
ומובן ופשוט שצריכה להיות התחזקות בהנהגה בחיי היום יומי מתאימה להוראות תורתנו תורת חיים ובקיום מצותי' עליהם נאמר וחי בהם, שניתנו לנו מהשם יתברך שהוא הרופא כל בשר ומפליא לעשות, ורופא בשר ודם שלוחו הוא.
ומהנכון אשר יבדקו את התפילין שלו, ובכל יום חול קודם הנחת התפילין, להפריש פרוטות אחדות לצדקה. ומובן שהפרשה לצדקה צריכה להיות בלי נדר.

In response to your letter from Motzaei Shabbat Kodesh, in which you write about your health situation.
One should act according to the unanimous opinion of two expert doctors in the relevant field. It is understood and obvious that there must be a strengthening in daily conduct appropriate to the directives of our Torah, the Torah of life, and in fulfilling its mitzvot about which it is said "VaChai Bahem" ("and you shall live by them"), which were given to us by Hashem Yitbarach, Who is the Healer of all flesh and performs wonders; and a human doctor is His agent.
It is also proper that your tefillin be checked, and every weekday before putting on tefillin, set aside a few coins for tzedakah. Of course, giving tzedakah should be done without making a vow.
