הודיעונו חכמנו ז"ל אין לך דבר העומד בפני התשובה, אשר הנקודה שלה חרטה על העבר וקבלה טובה על להבא והוסיפו בזה ובכגון זה, לך לך אמרינן לנזירא סחור סחור לכרמא לא תקרב, ובכל יום קבעו תפלה בברכת השחר, ואל תביאנו לידי נסיון וכו' שגם זה ציווי תורתנו הק' ובודאי שביכולת האדם לקיים זה במילואו, ואין הדבר תלוי אלא ברצון, וכמובן גם כן ממכתבי הקודם.
ויהי רצון אשר המסירה ונתינה בחינוך בני ישראל על טהרת הקדש חינוך המקרב לבן של בני ישראל לאינו שבשמים תעמוד לכל אחד ואחת מהם הזקוקים לברכה בהמצטרך להם.
והרי הימים ימי סגולה, ימים שמתקרבים לחג השבועות זמן מתן תורתנו.
בברכה לבשו"ט בכל האמור ומתוך בטחון ושמחה.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from the 4th of Iyar.
Our sages of blessed memory have informed us: Nothing stands in the way of teshuvah (repentance), whose essence is regret over the past and a firm resolve for the future. They further added regarding such matters: "Lech lecha amrinan l'nezira, sechora sechora l'karma lo tikrav" (We say to a Nazirite: go around, do not approach the vineyard), and every day we established in the morning blessings prayer: "And do not bring us to a test," etc.—this too is a commandment of our holy Torah. Certainly, a person has the ability to fulfill this completely; it depends only on one's will, as is also evident from my previous letter.
May it be G‑d's will that the dedication and giving in educating Jewish children in purity—education that brings the hearts of Jewish children closer to their Father in Heaven—will stand for each and every one who needs a blessing in what they require. These are auspicious days as we approach Shavuos, the time of receiving our Torah.
With blessing for good news in all mentioned above, with confidence and joy.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that true teshuvah is always possible when paired with sincere regret and positive resolve. Avoiding temptation is both a Torah commandment and within everyone's reach if they truly desire it. Education with purity brings blessings to all involved.
