מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבי' עם הפ"נ שיקראו בעת רצון על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, ויהי רצון שתבשר טוב בתוכנו וכן בתוכן מכתבי'.
ובפרט אשר יצאנו כבר מימים הראשונים דחדש מנ"א ונכנסנו לימי הנחמה ומהם לחדש אלול חדש הרחמים רחמיו המרובים של יוצר האדם ומשגיח עליו בעין פקיחה ועין טובה וזן ומפרנס כל צרכיו הן בגשם והן ברוח ובאור פני מלך (מה"מ) חיים, (וכל צרכי החיים) וע"פ המבואר בזהר הק' עלמא עילאה כגוונא דעלמא תתאה, ואור פני האדם למטה ממשיך אור ברכה וישועה מעולם העליון.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter with the pan, which will be read at an auspicious time at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory. May it be G‑d's will that you share good news among us and also in the content of your letters.
Especially since we have already passed through the first days of the month of Menachem Av and have entered the days of comfort, and from there into the month of Elul—the month of mercy—when the abundant mercies of He who forms man and watches over him with a vigilant and benevolent eye, providing all his needs both materially and spiritually and in the light of the king's (the King Moshiach's) countenance—(and all life's needs)—and as explained in Zohar: "The upper world is reflected in the lower world," and the radiance on a person's face below draws down light, blessing, and salvation from the upper world.
With blessing to share good news in all mentioned above.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that after times of difficulty come days of comfort and mercy. By uplifting ourselves spiritually and drawing light into our lives, we channel blessings from above for both material and spiritual needs.
