I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 17th of Tevet and the previous one.
In response to your questions: Regarding your daughter — religious girls are exempt from the draft (as stated in Devarim 22:5; there in 23:10,15). And those who say that nevertheless, since they want to help Eretz Yisrael, therefore they should enlist — according to what is stated above, this is like someone who wants to extinguish a fire, G‑d forbid, by pouring gasoline on it, since that too... is a liquid like water. And this should be understood well.
Draft: To the army. This is similar to: see also above Igros Kodesh vol. 21 letter 6779; vol. 13 letter 4511 and what is cited in the notes there.
Summary
