Shalom u'Vrachah!
I have received a report, though it seems strange, that apparently there is no peace among the group of shochtim in your camp at this time. What is even more odd and distressing is that this is specifically "among the shochtim of Anash."
If this report is true, G‑d forbid, then without entering into the reasons for the lack of peace or possible claims one may have against another, it is clear and simple that first and foremost there must be a drawing together of hearts—and even more than just drawing close. After all, this is a great principle in Torah: Ahavas Yisrael. See the wondrous (and alarming—in its negative aspect, G‑d forbid) words on this subject in the discourse Cheltzu by our Alter Rebbe—this year marks 150 years since his passing—in Likkutei Torah Parshas Mattos; in the mitzvah of Ahavas Yisrael by our Rebbe tzt"z in his Sefer HaMitzvos; and in Kuntres Cheltzu by our Rebbe (Rashab), with additions there from his son my father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal nbg"m zy"a. There is no need to elaborate on something so obvious and simple.
As for the actual dispute, both sides can present their claims in writing and send them to the rabbis of Eretz HaKodesh (may it be built and established), from where all members of the team of shochtim came—or to a Beis Din there—requesting them to express and instruct a Torah opinion regarding all that was mentioned.
May it be G‑d's will that these written words—though few in quantity—will immediately have their effect, bringing peace into your camp. Moreover, as per the prayer and hope of Bnei Yisrael: "Talmidei chachamim increase peace." And through this will also increase G‑d's blessing—for the vessel that holds this blessing is peace, as our Sages say in their Mishnah.
We now find ourselves at the end of the month which contains the day of redemption of our Alter Rebbe—which is also our own redemption and salvation of our soul. The Baal HaGeulah emphasized upon receiving word of his redemption by quoting: "Padah v'Shalom Nafshi" (He redeemed my soul with peace).
Awaiting good news.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that unity among community members—especially those engaged in holy work—is essential for drawing down G‑d's blessings. Disputes should be resolved through proper Torah channels, always prioritizing Ahavas Yisrael and peace.
