ז"ע העירו אותי על העזבון של הרב ש.א. עלקין ע"ה שע"פ דברי הנ"ל הי' תלמידו של כ"ק אדמו"ר (מוהרש"ב) נ"ע והיו אצלו מכתבים גוף כתי"ק, וכיון שנפטר באה"ק ת"ו מהנכון ביותר וביותר להודע מהנעשה עם כי"ק הנ"ל, ואף כפי שכותבים לי נפטר לפני איזה שנים בכ"ז אקוה שיש עדיין מה לעשות בזה.
ומענין לענין בענין דומה בנוגע להעזבון של הרב ניימארק ע"ה דתל אביב, שכמדומה לא הניח בנים, וקרוב לומר שהיו אצלו מירושת זקנו שהי' מחסידי אדמו"ר מוהר"ש ושל אדמו"ר מוהרש"ב נ"ע.
ולמרות שלא הזמ"ג להיות כותב ושולח מכתבים, הרי כל ההקדם בחקירה ודרישה יפה, ואחכה לבשו"ט בהאמור.

Concerning this matter, I was informed about the estate of Rabbi Sh.A. Alkin, of blessed memory, who according to what was said was a student of the Rebbe (the Rashab) of righteous memory and possessed letters in the Rebbe's own handwriting. Since he passed away in Eretz HaKodesh (the Holy Land), it is most appropriate to find out what happened with those handwritten letters. Even though I am told he passed away several years ago, I still hope there is something that can be done about this.
On a similar note regarding the estate of Rabbi Neimark, of blessed memory, from Tel Aviv: it seems he did not leave any sons, and it is likely that he had in his possession items inherited from his grandfather who was a chassid of the Rebbe Maharash and the Rebbe Rashab of righteous memory.
Although now is not an ideal time for writing and sending letters, nevertheless any haste in investigating and inquiring is good. I await good news on this matter.
