What the letters show

A doctor as G-d's messenger. A doctor's greatest success comes when he sees himself as G-d's messenger in healing (IK 2072).

Education and Chassidus. Summer camp is an ideal time for educators to instill fear of Heaven (IK 4523); he encouraged expanding the distribution of Chassidus (IK 6768) and perseverance in education even when results are not yet visible (IK 8039), and stressed preserving historical chassidic correspondence (IK 8683).

Communal matters. Both communal identity and individual donors deserve honor (IK 9428). On participating in Knesset elections, the Rebbe wrote that his position had not changed (IK 9767). That letter presents the Rebbe's own position on a political question.
