במענה למכתבו בו כותב אודות הו"ל מחדש ספרי אבותיו, ושואל עצה בזה.
והנה בנוגע לעצם הספרים, כיון שלא ראיתים ובכלל - יש להתייעץ עם מומחים בכגון זה מהנמצאים בסביבתו ויראו הספרים
בנוגע למוסדות המתעסקים בכזה, בטח גם להם ידוע שבאם יש להספרים ומחברם שייכות למדינות אירופא, שסבלו במלחמה האחרונה, יש מקום לברר אצל ועד השלומין והפיצוים, שבמקרים מסוימים משתתפים בהוצאות הכנה לדפוס וכו', כן באה"ק ת"ו נמצאים איזה מוסדות המסייעים בהוצאות ספרי קודש, ובודאי יוכלו לברר הפרטים בזה ג"כ מרבנים וראשי ישיבות וכו'.
בהמשך לסיום מכתבו, בעת רצון יזכירוהו על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע למילוי משאלות לבבו לטובה בהענינים אודותם כותב, בודאי עושים גם בדרך הטבע כי הרי על האדם לעשות התלוי בו בדרך הטבע, וזהו כלי לקיום מ"ש וברכך ה"א בכל אשר תעשה.
ומאחר שהכל בהשגחה פרטית עלי החובה (והזכות) לעוררו על ההכרח וחובת גברא בקביעות עתים גם בלימוד פנימיות התורה שבדורנו נתגלתה בתורת החסידות, קביעות בכל יום ובהוספה ביום השבת אשר קדש הוא לה', שבאם בכל הזמנים ובכל המקומות הי' הכרח בזה עאכו"כ בתקופתנו ובאה"ק ת"ו ביחוד אשר כמ"ש עיני ה' אלקיך בה מראשית השנה ועד אחרית שנה.

In response to your letter in which you write about publishing anew the books of your ancestors and ask advice regarding this: Concerning the books themselves, since I have not seen them—and in general—it is advisable to consult with experts in such matters who are in your vicinity and can review the books. Regarding institutions involved in such work, surely it is also known that if the books and their author have a connection to European countries that suffered during the last war, there is reason to inquire with the Committee for Restitution and Compensation, which in certain cases participates in covering preparation-for-printing expenses, etc. Similarly, in Eretz HaKodesh (the Holy Land), there are some institutions that assist with the expenses of publishing sacred books; certainly details can also be clarified from rabbis and heads of yeshivot, etc.
In continuation to the conclusion of your letter: At an auspicious time you will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe—may his merit protect us—for the fulfillment of your heart's wishes for good regarding those matters about which you write. Certainly you are also taking action through natural means, for a person must do what is incumbent upon him in a natural way; this is a vessel for fulfilling what is written: "And Hashem your G‑d will bless you in all that you do." And since everything is by Divine Providence, I have the duty (and privilege) to arouse you regarding the necessity and personal obligation to set fixed times—including for studying the inner dimension of Torah which in our generation has been revealed through Chassidus—regularly every day and with additional study on Shabbat, which is holy to Hashem. If at all times and places this was necessary, how much more so in our era and especially in Eretz HaKodesh as it is written: "The eyes of Hashem your G‑d are upon it from the beginning of the year until year's end."
