בתמהון גדול קורא הנני במכתב ומברק שנתקבל על דבר מצב רוחו, ומובנת הפליאה לאחרי שראה נסים ומופתים גלוים בטוב הנראה והנגלה.
ומודגשת הפליאה עוד יותר, שהרי שבועות האחרונות עומדים ברושם של חדש תשרי שסיומו וחותמו שמחת תורה, שמחה הפורצת כל גדר מדידה והגבלה, והרי גם נפסק הדין - שמחת תורה נמשכת עד ז' חשון (עיין ש"ך חו"מ סי' מ"ג ס"ק מ"ז) וגם לאחרי זה הרי הציווי לקחת מהשמחה ועניני' על כל השנה כולה.
בנוגע לענינו הוא, הרי מבואר בכ"מ ומובן גם ע"פ הנ"ל, שדוקא ההתחזקות בבטחון בהשי"ת הרופא כל בשר ומפליא לעשות ועד לכדי שמחה גלוי' בזה, הם הן הצנור והכלי לקבלת ברכת השי"ת להצלחה גדולה של הטפול לרפואה קרובה ושלימה, ואחכה לבשו"ט בכל האמור בעגלא דידן.

With great astonishment I read your letter and telegram received regarding your state of mind, and the wonder is even greater after you have seen open miracles and wonders in visible and apparent good. The wonder is further emphasized since the past weeks have been marked by the impression of the month of Tishrei, whose conclusion and seal is Simchas Torah—a joy that breaks all boundaries of measure and limitation. Furthermore, it has been ruled that the joy of Simchas Torah continues until the 7th of Cheshvan (see Shach Choshen Mishpat siman 43 se'if katan 47), and even after this there is a directive to take from this joy and its matters for the entire year.
Regarding your situation: it is explained in many places, and also understood from the above, that specifically strengthening one's trust in Hashem—the Healer of all flesh Who works wonders—and even reaching a revealed joy in this matter, these are the channels and vessels to receive Hashem's blessing for great success in treatment towards a speedy and complete recovery. I await good news regarding all the above speedily in our days.
