Shalom u'Vrachah!

In response to your letter from the 9th of Kislev... As for us, we pay no attention to those who oppose the matters of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, and his holy institutions. Especially since I am certain that just as my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, was victorious in all his matters in the past, so too will he be victorious in the present and future, and the wellsprings of Chassidus will spread forth until they reach even outside. And all those who conceal and hide this, those who oppose and fight against it—may it be His will that while there is still time they return from this path, especially if they contemplate the end of all those who fought against my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe. May it be His will that all this happen speedily.

We are now in these auspicious days between the 10th and 19th of Kislev, and it is known what was decreed by the Heavenly Court: because of this self-sacrifice (of the Alter Rebbe) for the teachings of Chassidus, they ruled Above that in every matter of Torah, fear of Heaven, and good character traits—the hand of his followers and those who walk in his path will be triumphant...
