I was pleased to receive your letter from Motzaei Shabbos Kodesh, in which you write about your good conduct from now on regarding the known matter. Certainly, it is unnecessary to further encourage you in this good decision, for aside from it being the request and demand of our holy Rebbeim and Nesi'im regarding this conduct, it is also one of the ways and methods of spreading the wellsprings outward—by showing all those around you and your acquaintances the conduct of Anash and those who study Chassidus, who are a living example of good behavior that finds favor in the eyes of G‑d and man.

And since at times it may seem that changing to better conduct is difficult, I am writing these lines to encourage you once again and yet again. Even if at first it seems difficult to change, surely after a short time you will become accustomed to it and rejoice over conducting yourself specifically in this manner.

May Hashem grant you success in this and in all your matters—you and your wife. With blessings for good news from the uplifting farbrengen of the bright day of Yud-Tes Kislev, Rosh Hashanah for learning Chassidus and its ways, and for good news also in the above.
