בודאי כל אחד מאנ"ש והצעירים ביחוד עושה כל התלוי בו לנצל ימי חודש כסלו בכלל, וי"ט כסלו וחנוכה ביחוד, בענין הפצת המעיינות חוצה. והרי רואים במוחש את המבואר באגה"ק לרבנו הזקן סי' י"ד, איך שבכל שנה ושנה נתוספה האפשריות והיכולת לעשות בזה, אלא שבשנים שעברו לא ניצלו אתם בכל האפשרי, וידוע הפתגם, שהעבר צריך ללמד את העתיד, וק"ל.
ומובן שדברי אלה מכוונים לא רק אליו, אלא לכל האמורים לעיל.
ויהי רצון שבמרץ הכי גדול יעשו בהנ"ל, ובמילא תהי' בהצלחה הכי גדולה.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 27th of Marcheshvan, and I await further good news.
Certainly each member of Anash, and especially the youth, is doing everything possible to utilize the days of the month of Kislev in general—and Yud-Tes Kislev and Chanukah in particular—for spreading the wellsprings outward.
We see tangibly what is explained in Igeres HaKodesh by our master the Alter Rebbe, section 14: that every year brings increased opportunity and ability to accomplish this. However, in previous years these opportunities were not fully utilized. It is known that the past should teach us for the future—and this is clear.
It is understood that these words are directed not only to you but to all those mentioned above.
May it be G‑d's will that with the greatest enthusiasm they will act regarding all the above, and consequently there will be the greatest success.
Blessings for good news in all the above matters as well as in your personal affairs.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that every year brings new opportunities to spread Chassidus. We must learn from past shortcomings and approach our mission with renewed energy—especially during Kislev and Chanukah—for true success in both communal and personal matters.
