א) ספרתי לכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שליט"א ע"ד תוכן מכתבם, וברפט כי הנכם ניגשתם למילוי תקפידכם הקדוש המוטל עליכם ע"י כ"ק מו"ח אד"ש, ופליא[ה] גדולה אשר לא כל הממונים באו על החתום.
ב) כמובן עיקר גדול בזה היא הזריזין של פועל ממש, ולבשורות טובות אנו מחכים.
ג) באשר ברגע זו אינה נישקפ[ת] האפשרות להמשיך את תמיכתנו מכאן, נוסף על מה שכבר הבטחתי להרב"ג על העבר, יש להתאמץ לאסף את כל התקציב על אתר: משכר לימוד, נדבות פרטיות, מגביות מיוחדות (וגם בביהכ"נ) באלול-תשרי ע"י הכנה הראוי'.
ד) בנוגע להצ[ע]תם אודות הדזשוינט כשאברר דעת כ"ק אד"ש.
ה) האופן הכי מתאים לקבץ הוצאת עניני דפוס והדפסה - הוא להשיג מנדיבים יחידים אשר נותנים סכום הגון עבור הדפסת ספר מיוחד לזכר נשמת וכו', או גם לזכות את החיים, וכמ שעשה כ"ק מו"ח אד"ש בספרי תורת שמואל הנמצאם תחת ידכם (וכמו"ש בשו"ת הרשב"א כי התורה מפרסמת עושי מצוה כו' הובא במג"א סי' קצד בסופו).

In response to your letter: a) I informed my father-in-law the Rebbe shlit"a about the content of your letter, and he was surprised that not all those responsible signed it, especially since you have approached fulfilling your sacred duty assigned to you by my father-in-law the Rebbe admu"sh.
b) Of course, the main thing here is prompt action in practice, and we are waiting for good news.
c) Since at this moment it is not possible to continue our support from here—beyond what I already promised Rabbi Binyamin Gorodetzky for the past—you must make every effort to raise all necessary funds locally: from tuition fees, private donations, special campaigns (including in synagogues) during Elul-Tishrei with proper preparation.
d) Regarding your suggestion about the Joint [Distribution Committee], I will clarify my father-in-law's opinion on this matter.
e) The most suitable way to gather funds for printing expenses is to find individual donors who will give a significant sum for printing a particular book in memory of a departed soul or also to merit the living. This is what my father-in-law did with Sifrei Toras Shmuel that are in your possession (as explained in Shut HaRashba that Torah publicizes those who perform mitzvos etc., brought in Magen Avraham section 194 at its end).
