Shalom u'Vrachah!
In anticipation of the festival of Shavuos, the time of the giving of our Torah, which is coming upon us and all Israel for good and blessing, I am sending you my blessing for a joyous holiday. In the words of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe: to receive the Torah with joy and inwardness.
With honor and blessing.
Enclosed is a copy of my letter that I wrote to someone regarding elections, in a lighthearted manner. And certainly—certainly—for your honor it is unnecessary to emphasize that in all that was said there is no difference between one party and another—even those who advocate for the most extreme leftist positions—for in essence their status has already been ruled by the Rambam (Laws of Divorce end ch. 2): even "one whose evil inclination overpowers him to nullify a mitzvah or commit a transgression—he wants to be part of Israel and wants to do all the mitzvos and distance himself from transgressions; it is his inclination that overpowers him."
And especially according to the saying of the Alter Rebbe: "A Jew does not want nor can he be separated from G‑dliness."
My previous letters have surely arrived on time.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that every Jew's inner desire is to connect with Torah and mitzvos regardless of external affiliations or actions. True unity comes from recognizing this essential bond with G‑dliness within every Jew.
