I acknowledge receipt of your letters from before Rosh Chodesh Iyar and the previous one.

In connection with this week's Torah portion: "Isha Ki Tazria VeYaldah Zachar" (When a woman conceives and gives birth to a male), it is well known how our master the Alter Rebbe explains this—that it alludes to serving the Creator: when matters come through an awakening from below in the service of Knesses Yisrael, Bnei Yisrael, then "she gives birth to a male," something enduring.

May it be G‑d's will that as we enter the month of redemption, so too regarding Israel's redemption: that the Holy One establishes for them (awakens them to truth; for the evil inclination was established by G‑d to test man and is called) a king (the small city is the body and he decrees upon it) whose decrees are harsh (like a high and difficult mountain) like Haman (who sought to destroy and kill with cruelty; for he is the evil inclination, he is the angel of death), but Israel does teshuvah (in one moment and with joy), returning them to good (the source of goodness), and immediately they are redeemed—a redemption after which there will be no exile, for it will be true and complete. The song will be in masculine form.
