[15 Adar Sheni, 5719] I acknowledge receipt of your letter—without indication of when it was written—in which you write briefly and convey regards from here, etc., as well as briefly about the situation in... etc. May it be G‑d's will that the news received from Eretz HaKodesh regarding both general and specific matters should be good—good that is visible and revealed. Until when?

Especially since, after all, there is a proclamation about the matter of Ufaratzta ("You shall spread out"), which obviously must also apply within one's own four cubits as well as those of the community. My intention is that each person must do what depends on him in order to bring this matter into open reality.

It is also said about this: there is a strong presumption regarding activism that it does not return empty-handed, and nothing stands in the way of willpower. Indeed, every individual among Anash—and especially the students of Tomchei Temimim—has a double task: to arouse within himself a strong will and to influence others through appropriate activism, and this is clear.

May it be G‑d's will that since we are now in the month of Adar—about which it is said "it was turned around" (referring to Purim), and we connect redemption to redemption from Adar to Nissan—redemption from all things that hinder serving Hashem with joy and gladness of heart—so too should there be good news in all the above.
