שידוך עם כזו שיחסה לתומ"צ אינו כדבעי - מובן שקשור עם הסתבכויות רבות, ושלא תמיד אפשר להעריכן מראש.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 5th of Menachem Av, in which you outline what you have recently experienced. My strong hope is that wherever you are found, you do not, G‑d forbid, lose focus from your role as every Jew has—as the Mishnah says: I was created to serve my Creator. As explained in many places, this service is a daily way of life according to Torah and mitzvah. A major principle here is based on "VeAhavta leReiacha Kamocha" (Love your fellow as yourself), to influence those around you so that they too behave accordingly. Our Sages have already said: words that come from the heart enter the heart of the listener. Especially important is that at the core of every Jew their heart is awake to the Holy One Blessed be He, His Torah and His mitzvos; only for some this inner heart is covered by a layer of dirt or clay etc. When someone helps remove this layer of concealment and hiding, even this helper needs assistance—from their own inner heart—whether knowingly or unknowingly. This is also clear from what is explained at length in Sefer Tanya Kadisha about the hidden love in every Jew's heart which we inherit from our forefathers.
Especially now, one should not wait to act for others until achieving personal perfection; rather, these matters must be done immediately—and on the contrary, each type of action helps the success of the other type as can be seen clearly. Since you now live a life based on discipline and acceptance of authority, surely you reason within yourself: if such discipline applies to human commands all the more so regarding the command of the Creator of man—He Who rules over all.
Regarding what you wrote about your father—whether he should change his profession—in general, the approach in such cases is not to leave one's source of livelihood until there is a well-founded estimate that income will be available in the new profession with near certainty.
At an auspicious time he will be mentioned at the holy resting place (the tziyun) of my revered father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal according to your letter's content. May it be G‑d's will that you have good news in all these matters—including spreading the wellsprings—which brings closer the fulfillment of "between these boundaries," when we will merit speedily in our days that they will be transformed into joy and gladness and an inheritance without boundaries.
Blessings for good news,
In the name of my revered father-in-law the Rebbe shlita,
Secretary
A match with someone whose connection to Torah and mitzvos is not as it should be obviously involves many complications which cannot always be foreseen in advance.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that daily service and influencing others are essential for every Jew. One should act without delay for others' benefit even before reaching personal perfection. Practical advice includes caution when changing professions and careful consideration regarding marriage proposals lacking strong Torah observance.
