To the participants of the gathering on Gimmel Tammuz, may Hashem be upon you and grant you life.

Shalom u'Vrachah!

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from the aforementioned gathering, including your proposals and resolutions regarding spreading the wellsprings. May it be G‑d's will that these resolutions are fulfilled in practice and in a manner of ever-increasing growth and light, as is precisely stated in the holy letter of the Baal Shem Tov: "They shall surely be spread."

And may it be fulfilled in this matter: "Galta," meaning revelation—Yehudah, which refers to acknowledgment in every aspect (both individual and collective, since when the wellsprings reach even outside through this spreading), from poverty—intense subjugation—and from much toil, for she dwelled among nations; therefore their service is with extra intensity, and therefore she found no rest. Her reward for not finding rest is that all who pursue her—as it is written: "Goodness and kindness shall pursue me"—and they overtook her between the straits (Bein HaMetzarim), from distress etc., until ascending to where no thought can grasp Him, as explained by Admor HaTzTz in his notes to Eichah 1:3.
