בנועם קבלתי מכתבם מב' שבט, דו"ח מפעולותיהם בקדש, בחינוך עטה"ק ובנקודה הפנימית הפצת המעינות חוצה, ואחכה לדו"ח גם בהנוגע למחזור הילדות תחיינה וכן מההתועדות והפעולות ביום סגולה, הוא יום ההילולא של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע נשיא ישראל.
ויהי רצון שמיום סגולה זה יתוסף בהתעוררות והעיקר בהפעולות שלהם במשך כל השנה, ובפעולות אלו גם בנקודה החשובה להגדיל מספר הפעילים-ות שי' בפעולות אלו, וגם בזה באופן דמוסיף והולך.
בברכת הצלחה בעבודתם בקדש ולבשו"ט בכל האמור ומפורטות.

בשאלתם בנקודה בהנוגע לצרף לעבודתם מחוגים שונים:
כבר ידועה השיטה בזה, שגם זה נכלל בענין הפצת המעינות, שהרי זהו מהדרכים הכי טובים לפעול בהזולת ע"י שנוטל חלק בעבודה בפועל, ומרגיש שצריך הוא להעשות טופח ע"מ להטפיח.
אבל מובן ג"כ, שבהנוגע לענינים אחראים, הרי ככל שתגדל האחריות תגדל ג"כ הבחינה והבירור והדיוק, מי הוא הראוי, וכבר מוכן לקבל תפקיד אחראי זה.
לשאלתם, באם ענין הפצת המעינות שייך ג"כ לילדים בגיל רך לפ"ע או שעדיין לא קבלו חנוך מתאים עכ"פ לפ"ע.
מובן שהפצת המעינות שייכת בהנוגע לכאו"א מבנ"י, אבל מובן ג"כ שבהנוגע לכל אחד צריך להשתמש בצנור כלים ואותיות מתאים להבנתו מעמדו ומצבו.
וגם בזה הרי למדנו מכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל, שפרסם מאמרים עמוקים בהשכלה בלה"ק, מאמרים קלי הבנה, ובעבודה ובאידיש ועד לשיחות לקוטי דבורים, און דעם ארום פון חסידות, וגם בשפות אחרות, שכל הנ"ל הוא במסגרת הפצת המעינות, אלא שנשתנה האופן מתאים לאופי המקבלים-ות, וק"ל.

I was pleased to receive your letter from 2 Shevat, reporting on your sacred activities in education according to our holy Torah and especially on the inner point—spreading the wellsprings outward. I await a report also regarding the girls’ cycle as well as about the farbrengen and activities on the auspicious day—the yahrzeit of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal neviga”m zya”a, leader of Israel.
May it be G‑d’s will that from this auspicious day there be an increase in inspiration—and more importantly—in your activities throughout the year. In these activities too, it is important to increase the number of male and female participants in these efforts, and to do so in a manner of ever-increasing growth.
With blessings for success in your sacred work and for good news in all matters mentioned in detail.
P.S. Regarding your question about involving people from various circles in your work: The approach here is already known—that this too is part of spreading the wellsprings. After all, one of the best ways to influence others is by having them take an active role in practical work and feel that they themselves must become a source who inspires others. However, it is also understood that when it comes to responsible matters, as responsibility increases so too must scrutiny and precision grow regarding who is worthy and already prepared to accept such a responsible role.
To your question whether spreading the wellsprings applies also to very young children or if they have not yet received adequate education for this: It is clear that spreading the wellsprings pertains to every single Jew; however, it is also clear that with each person one must use channels—tools and language—appropriate for their understanding and situation. Here too we have learned from my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe—leader of Israel—who published deep scholarly discourses in Lashon HaKodesh (Hebrew), easily understood essays, practical guidance in Yiddish, talks collected in Likkutei Dibburim, even about the atmosphere of Chassidus itself—and also in other languages. All of this falls within spreading the wellsprings; only the manner changes according to the nature of those receiving it. This is clear.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that spreading Chassidus applies to everyone—including young children—but should always be adapted thoughtfully for each audience. Involving diverse groups strengthens outreach when done responsibly and with careful consideration for each participant’s readiness.
