והנה ידועה דעת תורתנו תורת חיים בהנוגע להצלחת עניני קדושה, להתחיל באופן דראשיתך מצער [וכדיוק הבעש"ט, שאז] אחריתך ישגא מאד. שמזה מובן שאין עתה להתעסק בעשיית פרסום ולרכוש כתבת רבנים וכו', כ"א ללכת צעד אחר צעד, ובהליכה זו עצמה יתבררו כמה פרטים ואופני פעולות והכשרון לזה, ואז יוכלו להחליט בהנוגע לשאלותיו וכו'.

In response to your letter, in which you write about the gathering regarding an initiative to inspire our Sephardic Jewish brethren in Eretz HaKodesh for matters of Judaism, Torah, and mitzvos, and you ask about obtaining a rabbinic endorsement, etc.
It is well known what our Torah—the Torah of life—teaches regarding the success of matters of holiness: to begin in a manner of "Reishischa Mitz'ar" (your beginning will be small), [and as the Baal Shem Tov precisely explained, that] "Acharischa Yisge Me'od" (your end will flourish greatly). From this it is understood that now is not the time to engage in publicity or to obtain rabbinic endorsements, etc., but rather to proceed step by step. In this process itself, several details and methods of action and preparation will become clarified; then one can decide regarding your questions, etc.
